Privacy policy

Effective 2026. This policy covers vingeo.ge.

What we store

• Vehicle records. When a VIN is looked up, we archive the vehicle's public auction listing data and photos. This is data about vehicles, not people.
• Plate inspection lookups. A plate entered for an inspection check is proxied to pti.ge through our servers, and the result is cached for a few hours so repeat checks don't re-query the register. The register returns no owner identity, so none is received, shown, or stored — only the plate, the inspection dates, and the status.
• Server logs. Standard access logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) kept for security and abuse prevention, rotated on a short schedule.

What we don't do

• No advertising trackers and no sale of data to third parties.
• No account is required to run a lookup during the launch period.
• We don't attempt to link VIN or plate lookups to individual identity.

Third-party requests

Report pages query official NHTSA endpoints (vPIC decoder and recall database) directly from your browser; those requests are governed by NHTSA's own policies. Fonts are served by Google Fonts.
