Vingeo is VIN-based and does not resolve license plates today. The VIN is on the driver-side dashboard, the door-jamb sticker, the registration, and virtually every online listing — once you have it, the full report is one search away.

What the Vingeo report shows

Auction sale record

Whether the vehicle was listed at Copart or IAAI, when it sold, the lot number, seller, and location.

Real photos

Photos taken at the auction yard, archived by Vingeo so they stay available after the listing disappears.

Damage as listed

Loss type, primary and secondary damage, and the sale document declared at auction.

Odometer at sale

The mileage recorded when the vehicle was listed, with the recording date.

Specifications

Engine, transmission, drive line, body style, and factory data from the official NHTSA decoder.

Open recalls

Safety recalls for the vehicle's make, model, and year, queried live from NHTSA.

Plate-to-VIN resolution requires access to state DMV registries, which Vingeo does not currently have. We say so rather than guess.
